Course Content:

High-Quality CPR: Participants receive comprehensive training on delivering high-quality chest compressions, ventilations, and early use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs). Through hands-on practice and simulated scenarios, participants develop the skills necessary to perform CPR effectively in real-life emergencies.

Recognition of Life-Threatening Emergencies: The course emphasizes promptly recognizing and assessing various life-threatening emergencies, including cardiac arrest, choking, and respiratory distress. Participants learn to assess the situation rapidly and initiate appropriate interventions to maximize patient outcomes.

Team Dynamics: Effective teamwork is essential in emergency situations. Our training focuses on enhancing communication, coordination, and leadership skills within a team to optimize patient care and outcomes.

Use of AEDs: Participants learn to use automated external defibrillators (AEDs) effectively, including proper placement of electrode pads, interpretation of AED prompts, and coordination with CPR efforts. AED training improves survival rates in cases of sudden cardiac arrest.

Emergency Response Protocols: The course covers established emergency response protocols, including the “Chain of Survival” and the importance of early access, early CPR, early defibrillation, and early advanced care. Participants understand their role in each step of the emergency response process.

Special Considerations: The course addresses special considerations in CPR and basic life support, such as pediatric CPR, choking protocols for infants and children, and modifications for pregnant individuals and obese patients. Participants learn to adapt their response based on the unique needs of the patient.

Simulated Clinical Scenarios: To enhance learning and retention, participants engage in simulated clinical scenarios that replicate real-life emergencies. These scenarios allow participants to apply their knowledge and skills in a controlled environment, preparing them to respond effectively in actual emergencies.
