I have been a first responder for 7 years and try to bring my experience into teaching in a way that students can relate to.  I am very passionate about teaching and take pride in every class. I do everything in my ability to give each student the best learning experience they have ever had. The reason I started this company is to be able create a learning environment that truly delivers a course that students enjoy and take something from. Our number one goal is that our students have the confidence and knowledge to use their skills in the time of need.

I began as a first responder 12 years ago. What was supposed to be a casual job for school soon became a calling, and I have never looked back. I’ve served as a paramedic for the last decade, responding to disaster relief efforts from Fort McMurray to Calgary and during that time I’ve also had the privilege of working for multiple Fire Departments in central Alberta. One of the things I love about being a first responder is that there is always so much more to learn, and through that I discovered my passion for teaching. My philosophy is that our classes should always be fun, interactive and exciting.

I discovered my affinity for emergency response during my initiation into lifeguarding. Seeking advancement in my professional journey, I delved into teaching First Aid, unveiling an authentic passion. Over the last two years, I’ve dedicated myself to the role of a first responder in an industrial setting, delivering services encompassing EMS, Fire, and Technical Rope Rescue. My connection with the outdoors is profound, and I strive to devote all my leisure moments to exploration and golfing pursuits.

I am currently a firefighter/paramedic. I have worked as a primary care paramedic for the last 6 years. Serving the community in this way is something I am so passionate about .  I am super excited to bring this passion and experience into the First Aid classroom. On my days off you will find me in the gym and sneaking away to the mountains.

I started my first responding career as a paid on call firefighter in southern Alberta in 2018. That drove my passion to apply to a position so I could be a first responder full time. Now that I have achieved my goal as a full time first responder my passion has always been teaching and giving back to help people when they are in emergency situations.

I found my true passion for First Responding by attending a fire Cadets Program. From there I completed my Primary Care Paramedics program and have been providing EMS services in a Rural setting for 3 years. Teaching is something I have always found to be fulfilling. I am extremely honoured to be able to take my passion for EMS and bring into the first aid classroom. I come from a family of 10 siblings and enjoy spending my time away from work with friends and family.

I have been helping out in the First Aid classroom for as long as I can remember. I can truly say I have found my calling in life and know this is what I am meant to do. When I am away from the classroom I enjoy long walks in the river valley, checking out local coffee shops, and spending time with friends.
