This training course provides participants with an overall understanding of what is required to be compliant with Alberta Occupational Health & Safety Code Part 9, Fall Protection. Students will be placed in a harness and suspended above the ground, it is advised that comfortable non-revealing clothing be worn. Closed-toe shoes must be worn (No Sandals or Flip-Flops). Who Should Attend? All Workers who are required to use fall protection devices while performing work, or individuals who require a basic knowledge of the principles of fall protection for their roles. Theory can be taken online or in class. **Smaller class sizes may result in the student taking the theory in our computer lab with the instructor present to monitor and assist the student. Practical components will be taught in person with the guidance and supervision of the instructor. Digital certificates will be sent to the student’s email, or can be found on your Saga Training profile.
