Western Canada Fire & First Aid’s First Aid course is designed for those individuals who live or work in areas where the availability of emergency medical services may be delayed and for those trying to meet Government regulations. First aid training is a great skill set that can be applied in various situations – at work and at home.

Western Canada Fire & First Aid’s Basic First Aid course follows the new CSA standards Z1210-17 and the “Alberta Plus” standards. This course includes Level C CPR (Adult, Child & Infant)

This is a one-day course. Western Canada Fire & First Aid is an Authorized Training Partner of SAGA Universal Training Corp. The Basic First Aid course follows the CSA standards Z1210-17 and the “Alberta Plus” standards approved by Alberta Occupational Health & Safety (OHS), including Level C CPR & AED. This 8-hour Basic First Aid program (previously named Emergency First Aid) is designed for individuals who may have a delayed response to Emergency Medical Services or who work in an industrial or high-risk activity setting. The program is focused on Basic Life Support skills and includes Level C CPR & AED. Successful candidates will receive a certificate recognized by Alberta Labour that is valid for 3 years.
